The Toshiba mini nb255 comes in a glossy celestial black finish with a raised swirling texture that starts from the lid to the back to add that needed style. Under the lid it has matte plastic except for the hinge cylinder which is glossy. It has flat terraced keys which are comfortable to use especially with the textured palm rest.
The NB series measures 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels on a LED backlit display. It only has one small speaker on the right side which is the downside of the not so impressive audio features.
Performance
The Toshiba mini nb255 has a powerful processor from Intel Atom with 1GB RAM which is quite enough for some users. It runs with a 1.67 GHz N455 CPU, 5,400 rpm and a 160GB hard drive. Although it may not come up with a lot more memory and hard drive you might expect, at least it runs fast even with multiple applications running at the same time.
